The PPBI Story

 

PPBI grew out of Power Panels Electrical Systems, which is a story of unimaginable
success brought about through an applied approach to work–based learning and
culture change.

A focus on skills development of the entire workforce saw turnover quadruple,

efficiency increase by 88 per cent and a 99.97 per cent achievement in quality.

 

The journey to “world class” can be tracked through Power Panels’ quality achievements:

  • 1994: quality at 94.2%
  • 1998: quality at 98%
  • 2005: quality at 99.8%
  • 2008: quality at 99.97%
  • 2010: quality at 99.97%

In 2000, PPBI began life as an in–house centre of excellence within Power Panels Electrical Systems and the PPBI team lived through six years of cultural and behavioural change driven by a strategic approach to developing the attitudes, competencies and skills of employees.

Increasingly customers and suppliers were demanding PPBI’s approach to performance improvement and so the company was set up as a stand–alone entity in 2007. Clients across various industry sectors are now using the services of PPBI to make significant improvements to their bottom line.
